My Comic

Sun May 18, 2008, 7:47 PM
Well things didn't turn out the way I planned. I gave wolfgangraven more time like he asked. I gave him till april 30 to be exact and he let me down. You don't know how frustrated I am. I was hoping to have the layouts in time to publish by july. but looks like I won't be able to do that. I am beyond pissed. I paid him over half the money and all I have are 2 pages to show for it. I tried getting in contact with him but he hasn't responded to any of my email. This is really stressing me out because I gotta pay my loans by this summer and was hoping to publish my comic in order to do so. Oh well thats what I get for being nice and trying to be understanding.

Do you not have a physical address for the person you paid money to?

Do you have a physical contract for this work? Or any kind of email records that he said he'd be working for you - any contract.

Get a lawyer if he's that late, if you have a contract. If you don't... um, that's kind of the breaks. Do you know them personally?

You really should try and dig up whatever other conversations you might have had. If you've got printed proof that he had a deal with you - that's the only way you can legally pursue getting either your art done, or your money back. :/ Hoping won't help. I suggest sending a letter telling them that if they don't step up you will try and collect... It's unfortunate that you were depending on this project and they seem not to understand that. Some folks aren't cut out for deadlines :(
